Common questions
Do I need an account?
No. Tap Continue as guest on the first screen and you can use the app straight away, including buying credits. Creating an account with your mobile number is optional and lets you restore your data on a new device.
How do credits work?
Sending a message uses credits from your wallet. Credits are deducted only when a reply is actually delivered. If a message fails, the credits go back to your wallet automatically. You can top up from the wallet screen.
I was charged but my balance did not update
Close and reopen the app first, since the balance refreshes on launch. If it still looks wrong after that, email us with the approximate time of the purchase and we will check the transaction and fix it.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases made on iPhone or iPad go through Apple, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. For purchases made any other way, email us and we will look at it.
How do I turn notifications off?
On iPhone, open Settings › Notifications › Aura AI and turn off Allow Notifications. On Android, open the app info screen and turn off notifications.
How do I delete my account and data?
Open the menu in the app and choose Delete Account. This removes your profile, your conversations and your account data. Some transaction records are kept where the law requires it. See the Privacy Policy for detail.
Can I talk to a person instead of the AI?
Yes. Email contact@aurachat.in, or use the Request a callback option above the chat box in the app. Tell us a good time to reach you.
If you are in crisis, please do not wait for an email reply. Contact your local emergency services or a crisis helpline immediately. Aura AI is not a crisis service and cannot help in an emergency.
